Experience:
• 2 years of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.
• 12 months of Medical Surgical Unit experience.
• Experience with Epic is required.
Requirements:
• Candidates must have a Ohio license or compact license (required after submission).
• This role will require floating to multiple units
• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >50 miles from facility to be submitted.
• COVID vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.
• COVID booster required after submission. Religious, medical, and personal declinations accepted.
• Flu vaccination required after submission. Religious, medical, and personal declinations accepted.
• Anyone who worked as Staff at a facility in this program in the last 12 months cannot be submitted.
• Anyone currently working at a facility in this program cannot be submitted.

Preferred Skills/Experience:
Experience with orthopedic and bariatric patients preferred.
Required Credentials:
LPN EKG exam is required; the medication portion of the normal EKG exam is not included.
High school degree or GED.
Completion of an accredited LPN (Licensed Practical Nursing) Program.
Unit Details:
Patient cases include up to 6 L NC and intermittent BiPAP; no special procedures.
The unit may use heparin drips, IVs, ports, and PICCs, and includes remote telemetry patients.
Patient population spans neonates through geriatrics.
The unit uses a team-nursing model.
The goal is for the charge nurse to be out of ratio.
Shift & Scheduling:
Schedule includes every third weekend and every other holiday.

All time off requests must be submitted at application. Scheduling requests must be worked out with the manager directly upon starting the assignment. Any offers for this job will require a clear “Yes” or “No” response from the nurse within 24hrs or the offer must be declined.
